Christmas Maiden

In white she smells of snowdrops

Or of the mistletoe’s pale berries

Then donning a cape of red and gold

She is the poinsettia and the holly

Her hair of brown, her hair of gold

Glitters with tinsel and stars of ice

Crowning her in season’s charms

Ushering cheer and fireside nights

And when she walks upon the snow

Not a trace mars white perfection

Whilst firs clad in light and colour

Reflect her gay complexion

      1. Your welcome. Say, do you have skype?

The reason I ask is because I have skype…and I just thought it be a good idea to finally talk to some of my blogger friends from the other side of the world. I hope it’s too much of an inconvenience for you?

        1. Sorry for this late response, I have been on a long hiatus. Wisdom teeth and other awful complications. I actually don’t have Skype, sorry, I’ve heard it is getting popular but I’m a foot-dragger I guess

  1. i thought of what listen best to while digesting/devoring the beauty of this and came up with: Je suis malade by Lara Fabian. I’d repost it the second you tell me so. cheers serge
